The beauty of Mount Bromo in the Mount Semeru area has been heard abroad. The Tengger people, a tribe who live in the Mount Bromo area, consider this mountain sacred. The name Bromo itself comes from the name of the most important Hindu god, Brahma. When traveling to Mount Bromo, you will be greeted by a sand crater that stretches across the area of ​​one of the most beautiful mountains in East Java. In this ritual, the Tengger Tribe people make offerings in the form of livestock and food to the gods who reside in the mountains of the area such as Mount Semeru, Batok, Bromo and Pananjakan.
